CleanShot Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 22, 2026
1. Who We Are
CleanShot is published by Jerry Koller (“we,” “us,” “our”). If you have questions about this policy, contact: CleanShotImprovements@proton.me
2. Overview
CleanShot helps you review and clean up your photo library. We design CleanShot to work primarily on your device, with minimal data handling.
3. Photo Library Access
CleanShot requests access to your photo library so it can scan, organize, and help you delete photos and videos you choose.
- Processing is performed locally on your device.
- We do not upload your photos or videos to our servers.
- We do not store your photos or videos on external systems.
4. Data Collection and Use
CleanShot does not require an account and does not collect personal data for analytics, advertising, or marketing.
- No account registration
- No third-party ad tracking
- No sale of personal data
- No sharing of personal data for advertising purposes
5. Email Support
If you contact us at CleanShotImprovements@proton.me, we will use the information you provide only to:
- Respond to your request
- Provide support
- Improve app quality based on user feedback
We do not use support emails for marketing. Please note that email delivery providers may process message metadata (such as sender/recipient and timestamp) as part of normal email operation.
6. In-App Purchases
CleanShot offers a one-time premium purchase. Payments and transaction processing are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment details.
7. Data Security
Because CleanShot operates primarily on-device and does not upload your photo library content, your data remains under your control on your device and within Apple’s systems.
8. Children’s Privacy
CleanShot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Because we do not maintain user accounts or store your photo library content on our servers, there is generally no server-side personal profile for us to modify or delete.
If you have a privacy question or request, contact us at CleanShotImprovements@proton.me and we will do our best to help.
10. App Store Privacy Disclosures
Our App Store privacy disclosures are based on the app’s current behavior and will be updated if data practices change.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
